Polly Perks had to become a boy in a hurry. She joined the army to look for her lost brother. But there is a war on and Polly and her fellow recruits are in the thick of it, without any training and with the enemy hunting them. Oh, and they have a secret.... as well as all the resources of the Monstrous Regiment.
Richmond Shakespeare Society was founded in 1934 to perform Shakespeare in the open air.
