Winner of the 1957 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Long Day's Journey into Night, plunges deep into the heart of the Tyrone family - James, the acclaimed actor who sold out to commercial success, his wife in recovery from morphine addiction, and their two sons. O'Neill described his greatest and autobiographical drama as "a play of old sorrow, written in blood and tears".
