King Charles III

King Charles III

Sir William Borlase's Grammar School

The Borlase Theatre
West Street, Marlow

You are warmly invited to our senior drama production of King Charles III by Mike Bartlett. This critically acclaimed play first opened at London's Almeida Theatre in 2014, before transferring to the West End and thereafter embarking on an international tour. The play is a controversial 'future history play' which explores the unwritten rules of our democracy, and the conscience of Britain's famous Royal Family. Set in the future, the play opens with the death of Queen Elizabeth II. After a lifetime of waiting her son, Charles, finally ascends the throne. But how to rule?

This contemporary production promises to be very exciting and is likely to sell out quickly. Please book your tickets as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The performance will take place at 7pm in the Borlase Theatre over three evenings.

Tickets for all three shows are on sale on Positickets, priced at 12 pounds for adults and 8 pounds for students. We are holding some tickets in reserve to ensure that all cast members are able to obtain seats for family and friends. Any seats then left over from this reserved section will be released for general sale.

As ever, our apologies that there is no parking in the school grounds. We ask you kindly to respect our neighbours in near-by streets by avoiding parking in private or designated areas. The public car parks in West Street and at the back of Sainsbury's should be used. Your cooperation is much appreciated.

We look forward to seeing you at our production of King Charles III.

Yours sincerely

Miss Lauren Anderson
Head of Drama
