Bridging Time, Generations and Communities an evening of words, music and performance by Richmond School Community Arts and Military WAGS Choir Catterick.

Richmond School is producing "Your Country Called" in conjunction with the Town's 'Richmond Remembers' festival. Both the School and College theatre companies are devising the performance, that involves dance, song and physical theatre. The original stimulus was an account of a moment in the First World War that affected the town through the Green Howards, written by Capt. Herbert Read D.S.O., M.C. Our work explores not just the soldiers at the front but the impact at home, with a focus on ordinary people's responses to extraordinary events. Within this performance Chloe Woods, in Year 13, will present a section of work that is the culmination of her extended project qualification. Alongside this, there will be music from the Military WAGS Choir, with a focus on our community. It is set to be a wonderful evening of entertainment, marking the 100-year anniversary of a World War 1 battle involving the town's Green Howards' regiment.

Profits to Richmond Branch of Royal British Legion.
