Seven years after his partner Marley's death, it's Christmas Eve and Scrooge's sweet factory workers are in good spirits and looking forward to Christmas. Cold-hearted, miserly Scrooge has different ideas however, as he demands they all attend work on Christmas Day or lose their jobs.

Staying true to miserly form, Scrooge dismisses the attending carol singers, and is so horrified by the request for a charity donation that he has to be resuscitated. Even an offer of Christmas dinner from his nephew Fred receives nothing but Scrooge's usual "Humbug!"

After a warning from the ghost of his old partner, Scrooge is visited by three ghosts who attempt to show him the error of his ways before it's too late.

The spirits show him what he's lost owing to his greed - the happiness of the Cratchitt family despite their grinding poverty and finally the dire consequences of what will be if nothing changes; but is it enough?

Will Scrooge see the error of his ways, will the Cratchitts have a happy Christmas and will Fred finally see his Uncle at the Christmas dinner table?

With comedy, pathos and some great musical numbers, Parish Players promise you another great seasonal treat!
